My Personal Path

When it comes right down to it, my two passions in life are healthcare and education. The choices I’ve made as both a paid professional and as a volunteer all seem to revolve around working with people to bring them more joy and ease, contributing to their quality of life and doing what I can to ensure equal access to quality services. While I didn’t know it at the time, these choices may all have been in preparation for my work as a health advocate.

In fairness, sometimes we make choices about how to spend our time and energy and sometimes things just happen – things that we don’t consciously choose but that turn out to be major stepping stones in our life. What we can choose is how we are going to embrace those surprise events.

In the early part of 2006, my husband and I began our journey into what we later called “the crucible years.”

There were multiple, and seemingly endless, waves in this journey —  my dad, my mom, my brother, and lastly, my own health crisis.

Then, in 2020, the shock of my life - I lost my husband.

My work with healthEase seems perfectly logical to me– combining my professional background/work with my real world experience.

I look forward to being a partner on your journey, providing support, offering assistance and guidance – working together to meet your needs
